Event Sales Manager, Western Europe/ META  £65-75k plus

Our client is seeking an Event Sales Manager to join our team in the United Kingdom. Their vision is to make the world a better place by enabling the right use of technology.  As the leading global media and data company powered by 1st party relationships,collaborative, innovative and customer focused culture fosters success for their customers and their employees.

They have growth opportunity for their events business in Western Europe/ META where they run a diverse mix of events for their high-quality technology audiences ranging from intimate round tables to large conferences and awards.

They are strengthening their team and looking for an ambitious, talented, and experienced event sales professional to be responsible for selling the event portfolio.

This role is predominantly focused on business development with some elements of account management. The successful candidate must have the ability to find opportunities and confidently present to clients.

The Event Sales Manager will report to the regional Head of Clients Services and hold the following responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and close event sales opportunities within their customer base
  • Prospect, develop, and service relationships with existing and net new logo customers
  • Confidently present event portfolio of solutions  
  • Negotiate and be responsible for all contracts
  • Drive new business revenue generation
  • Gain market share with existing customers


Required Skills


  • Desired 3 years+ event sales experience, within a technology environment is beneficial
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of event marketing and trends
  • Self-starter with good organisational and time management skills; able to work at fast pace, to achieve targets & business goals
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills.
