Learning Solutions Manager

Due to growth online, they seek a multi-tasker who will thrive in a busy office in the middle of significant growth.

You will be responsible for managing the conversion of all of our courses into multi-media rich, bite sized modules, in accordance with our brand vision.

This will include but is not limited to:

• Commissioning content producers and subject matter experts for online courses

• Developing materials for face to face courses

• Managing the budget spend for each course/module

• Getting templated contracts signed and completed by subject matter experts

• Responsible for assuring the quality of online and face to face course content

Key Responsibilities

• Project manage course development from idea to content production through to assessment of online, face to face, and blended courses

• Manage the course creation process throughout every stage, from planning to designing to delivery

• Manage both, internal and external projects

• Liaise with clients to scope, design and build the perfect learning solutions for their needs

• Responsible for ensuring all content is legally compliant and up to date

• You will have one direct report, a Learning Solution Digital Creative – who is responsible for the creative production of content

• Edit and review content against course stated learning objectives to make sure content is inspiring, accurate, current, and presented at the correct course level

• Together with the Qualifications Manager, manage the assessment process, writing exam questions, gaining approval from the Exam Board, briefing the eLearning Technology Manager on the build, testing and delivery

• Together with the eLearning Technology Manager, consider new ways to reach students and incorporate multi-media to aid learning

• Help develop course outlines and, work with Subject Matter Experts to deliver training content and materials for public courses and corporate clients, which will include multinational brands

• Working with the Marketing Team write and develop marketing materials that promote courses

• Work with industry experts and council members to inform course syllabi and content

• Budget management Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Have excellent communication skills and be a team player

• Be able to speak confidently with subject matter experts and other stakeholders

• Have experience with Articulate Rise (preferred)

• Have excellent copywriting skills

• Have an enthusiastic and creative approach towards the scoping, planning, designing and delivery of online, face to face, and blended learning.

• Be an energetic person with a positive attitude that is driven, creative and resourceful

• Be self-motivated and goal-oriented

• Have exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Be able to multi-task and handle change

• Be productive under pressure and able to juggle their workload

• Be passionate about learning and understanding how people learn and be willing to work on improving the user experience on an ongoing basis

Experience in the education sector and/or marketing sector would be an advantage but not essential for a fast learner.
